Preschool Lead Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Preschool Lead Teacher to create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children. Reporting to the School Director, you will lead classroom operations, deliver curriculum, and support each child’s physical, social, emotional, and academic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with Cadence educational philosophy.
• Maintain a warm, inclusive classroom where every child feels respected and valued.
• Communicate daily with families, providing updates and fostering strong partnerships.
• Implement and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and behavioral support plans as needed.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, safety, and Cadence Education policies.
• Document accidents, incidents, and behavior escalations according to company and regulatory standards.
• Participate in trainings, meetings, and professional development activities.

Required profile

• Experience in childcare, daycare, or preschool education.
• Demonstrated ability to support diverse developmental and cultural needs.
• Strong communication skills with children, families, and team members.
• Commitment to teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Experience implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Familiarity with Cadence Education curriculum and safety procedures.
