Preschool Lead Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Preschool Lead Teacher to join our dedicated team of early‑childhood educators. Reporting to the School Director, you will create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for young learners.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver curriculum aligned with Cadence Education’s philosophy and Signature Programs.
• Lead daily classroom operations, ensuring compliance with licensing, safety, and health standards.
• Support the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of all children, including those with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Maintain accurate records of accidents, incidents, and behavioral reports.
• Communicate regularly with families using Cadence‑required tools and uphold professional relationships.
• Participate in trainings, meetings, and professional‑development activities, occasionally outside regular hours.

Required profile

• Experience in childcare, daycare, or preschool education.
• Ability to implement IEPs and behavioral support plans.
• Strong commitment to inclusive, respectful, and child‑centered practices.
• Demonstrated adherence to safety procedures and licensing requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Cadence Education’s curriculum and documentation systems.
• Effective classroom management and supervision techniques.
