Preschool Lead Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Preschool Lead Teacher to join our dedicated team of early childhood educators. Reporting to the School Director, you will create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver curriculum aligned with Cadence Education’s philosophy and Signature Programs.
• Lead daily classroom operations, ensuring compliance with licensing, safety, and supervision standards.
• Support the physical, social, emotional, and developmental needs of all children, including those with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Maintain clear, professional communication with families, staff, and leadership using Cadence‑required systems.
• Document and report accidents, incidents, and behavioral escalations according to policy and licensing requirements.
• Participate in trainings, meetings, and professional development activities.

Required profile

• Experience in early childhood education, childcare, daycare, or preschool settings.
• Ability to implement IEPs and behavioral support plans.
• Strong commitment to fostering an inclusive, respectful classroom atmosphere.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for building relationships with children, families, and team members.
