Preschool Teacher – 3‑Year‑Olds

About the role

Cadence Education is seeking a passionate Preschool Teacher to join a classroom of 3‑year‑old children. Working under the School Director and Lead Teacher, you will help create a safe, nurturing environment that supports each child’s physical, social, emotional, and developmental needs.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom where children are treated with dignity and respect.
• Greet children and families daily, building welcoming professional relationships.
• Assist in recognizing and responding to individual developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs, including following IEPs and behavior support plans.
• Support the Lead Teacher in planning and delivering developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence Signature Programs.
• Communicate with families, coworkers, and leadership using Cadence‑approved tools and systems.
• Follow the Cadence Education Safety and Supervision Manual, documenting and reporting accidents and incidents as required.
• Help manage, document, and address child behaviors in line with Cadence policies.

Required profile

• Passion for early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children.
• Experience in childcare, daycare, or early childhood education.
• Ability to support children with IEPs and follow licensing and safety regulations.
• Willingness to work collaboratively under the direction of the School Director and Lead Teacher.
