Preschool Teacher Assistant – Grant Position

About the role

Cadence Education is looking for a dedicated Preschool Teacher Assistant to join our caring team. You will support lead teachers in creating a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for young learners.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher in delivering the research‑based curriculum.
• Document and share daily milestones with parents.
• Enhance children’s play with language, toys, and activities.
• Maintain a safe classroom by intervening when necessary.
• Model and encourage age‑appropriate social behavior.
• Collaborate with staff to plan balanced daily schedules.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old and meet state preschool assistant requirements.
• Flexibility to work within standard business hours.
• Previous experience as a teacher assistant or in a licensed daycare is preferred.
