Preschool Teacher

About the role

Cadence Education is seeking a passionate Preschool Teacher to join its early‑childhood team. Working under the School Director and Lead Teacher, you will help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom where young children can explore, learn, and grow.

Key responsibilities

• Support a positive, inclusive classroom environment that respects each child’s dignity and individuality.
• Greet children and families daily, building welcoming and professional relationships.
• Recognize and respond to individual developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs, including following IEPs and behavior support plans.
• Assist the Lead Teacher in planning and delivering developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence Signature Programs.
• Communicate with families, coworkers, and leadership using Cadence‑approved tools and systems.
• Follow the Cadence Education Safety and Supervision Manual, documenting and reporting accidents and incidents as required.
• Manage, document, and escalate child behaviors in line with Cadence policies and classroom expectations.

Required profile

• Experience in childcare, daycare, or early childhood education.
• Ability to work with children who have IEPs and diverse learning needs.
• Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships with children, families, and staff.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe, licensed classroom environment.
