Preschool Teacher / Van Driver

About the role

Cadence Education is seeking a motivated individual to combine early childhood education with safe transportation. As a Preschool Teacher/Van Driver you will nurture young learners in the classroom and ensure they travel to and from school securely.

Key responsibilities

• Transport preschool children to and from the school site, maintaining a safe and friendly environment on the bus.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and keep the van compliant with state licensing and DMV standards.
• Support classroom activities, assist the lead teacher, and help create a positive learning atmosphere.
• Monitor student behavior during trips, document any concerns, and communicate with the director.
• Facilitate safe hand‑offs with authorized pick‑up persons.
• Participate in in‑service training, staff meetings, and parent events.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 21 years old and meets all state preschool and bus driver requirements.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
