Procurement Officer

About the role

The Procurement Officer will support the Procurement and Supply Chain Manager in executing purchasing activities for construction‑related materials and services, ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency and compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Review purchase requisitions, obtain and evaluate supplier quotations, and process purchase orders after required approvals.
• Coordinate with suppliers to confirm order acceptance, production status, delivery dates and documentation, and follow up on any delays or quality issues.
• Prepare cost comparisons, negotiate commercial terms, and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Maintain complete procurement documentation in the ERP system, ensure three‑way matching with finance, and generate procurement reports.
• Monitor supplier performance, maintain scorecards, and support supplier development and onboarding.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years (36 months) of procurement experience, preferably in construction or related industries.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to evaluate quotations, costs and market prices.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills across production, warehouse, finance and operations teams.
