Production Manager – Creative Projects

About the role

Dormi Arts Initiative is seeking a Production Manager to lead the day‑to‑day fabrication of creative items, installations, furniture, décor and artistic projects. The role blends leadership, project coordination and hands‑on problem solving in a socially‑driven creative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and oversee all fabrication activities to meet production targets and client requirements.
• Develop and implement efficient production processes, ensuring optimal use of resources.
• Monitor project progress, adjust plans as needed to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Lead, train and supervise a team of artists, artisans and fabricators, assigning tasks based on skills.
• Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback and coaching.
• Establish and enforce quality control standards; inspect materials and finished products.
• Promote health and safety compliance, conduct safety audits and risk assessments.
• Manage inventory of raw materials, tools and equipment; coordinate procurement.
