Project Assistant – Nebbi

About the role

Raising The Village is seeking a motivated Project Assistant to support community‑driven initiatives in Nebbi. You will work closely with partner villages to implement project designs that increase household income and reduce extreme poverty.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct project design review meetings with partner villages and provide feedback to update designs and budgets.
• Co‑facilitate training activities covering financial literacy, health and sanitation, agriculture, livestock management, and community health outreach.
• Implement RTV’s project methodologies, develop procurement lists, verify goods before distribution, and support community groups to ensure compliance.
• Identify risks, propose mitigation measures, and provide recommendations for project improvement.
• Develop and manage work plans, submit weekly field reports, and assist with donor reporting and proposal writing.
• Attend weekly staff and cluster meetings, submit financial requests, and share project photographs for data repositories.
• Provide feedback to the Project Officer and Manager to enhance project sustainability and impact.

Required profile

• University degree in Community Development, Project Management, Development Studies, Social Work, or related fields.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in community development programs, project management, facilitation, or leadership roles.
