Regional Business Development Executive (Senior)

About the role

Dentons is seeking a Senior Regional Business Development Executive to support the Africa region’s client and market initiatives. Working under the Africa BD Lead and COO, you will help deliver firm‑wide campaigns, strengthen brand awareness and coordinate key events across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Support the execution and tracking of the regional clients and markets plan.
• Assist with rollout of sector and key‑client programs across Africa.
• Develop and maintain regional marketing collateral, including brochures, web pages and leadership bios.
• Coordinate Africa Region meetings, conventions and related logistics.
• Manage digital and social‑media updates for the region and globally.
• Prepare annual directory and awards submissions (e.g., Chambers Africa, African Legal Awards).
• Support pan‑African pitches and proposals by gathering inputs from referral firms.
• Liaise with country BD leads to align regional and global campaigns.

Required profile

• 4‑5 years of experience in business development, marketing or communications, preferably within professional services or a legal environment.
• Strong written and organisational abilities, with experience coordinating across multiple offices or jurisdictions.
• Excellent proficiency in English; French is a considerable advantage.
• Data‑driven mindset with a passion for adding rigour to processes.
• Detail‑oriented, solution‑focused and able to meet deadlines.
• Team‑player who is approachable, reliable and responsive.
