Regional Teacher - Floater

About the role

Cadence Education is seeking a Regional Teacher – Floater to support daily classroom operations and deliver its research‑based curriculum. Working under the School Director and Lead Teacher, you will help create a safe, nurturing environment for young children, including those with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere where children feel respected and cared for.
• Greet children and families daily, building welcoming professional relationships.
• Assist in recognizing and responding to each child’s developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs, following IEPs and behavior support plans.
• Support the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence Signature Programs.
• Communicate with families, coworkers, and leadership using Cadence‑approved tools and systems.
• Follow safety and supervision policies, documenting and reporting accidents or incidents as required.
• Manage, document, and address child behaviors in line with Cadence policies.

Required profile

• Experience in childcare, daycare, or early childhood education.
• Ability to work with children of diverse backgrounds and needs, including those with IEPs.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with families and staff.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe, compliant classroom environment.
