Resource Mobilization Volunteer

About the role

The Nhinze Children’s Disability Training and Advocacy Network is seeking a passionate Resource Mobilization Volunteer to help identify funding opportunities, build partnerships, and support fundraising initiatives. This role offers hands‑on experience in grant development and donor engagement while contributing to the organization’s mission of improving lives of children and persons with disabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Identify potential funding sources from donors, foundations, NGOs, government programs, corporations, and private partners.
• Assist in developing and implementing resource mobilization and fundraising strategies.
• Prepare grant proposals, concept notes, expressions of interest, and partnership proposals.
• Build and maintain relationships with donors, partners, and stakeholders.
• Mobilize financial and in‑kind resources, including equipment, materials, services, and donations.
• Maintain donor and partner databases and track fundraising targets and progress.
• Support fundraising campaigns, communication, and visibility initiatives.
• Contribute ideas to expand the organization’s funding base and partnerships.

Required profile

• Passionate about social impact, disability inclusion, and community development.
• Self‑motivated, proactive, creative, and eager to learn.
• Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Interest in fundraising, grant writing, partnership development, and donor engagement.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
