Sales Agent – Insurance (Full‑time, Kampala)

About the role

We are looking for motivated Sales Agents to join our insurance agency in Kampala. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on acquiring new clients, presenting our insurance solutions, and turning prospects into long‑term customers.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage potential clients through prospecting activities.
• Conduct client meetings, explain agency services and negotiate terms within established guidelines.
• Follow up on leads, maintain accurate records of interactions and sales activities.
• Handle customer inquiries, provide timely support, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure service delivery.
• Continuously learn market trends and agency offerings to effectively position products and achieve sales targets.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills to engage clients and build professional relationships.
• Solid customer‑service abilities to resolve issues and ensure a positive client experience.
• Proven sales experience with prospecting, negotiation and closing in a target‑driven environment.
• Knowledge of insurance products or services to discuss solutions confidently.
• Training aptitude to guide clients or junior team members when needed.
• Organizational and time‑management skills, ethical work approach and ability to collaborate in a diverse team.
