Sales Agent

About the role

The Sales Agent role at Prudential Uganda is a full‑time, hybrid position based in Kampala, offering flexibility to work from home. You will identify prospective clients, present suitable insurance products and guide customers on policy options that meet their protection and savings needs.

Key responsibilities

• Identify prospective clients and conduct client meetings.
• Present appropriate insurance products and explain policy options.
• Follow up on leads and complete sales documentation.
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
• Deliver customer service, respond to inquiries and resolve concerns throughout the policy lifecycle.
• Collaborate with team members and participate in training sessions.
• Contribute to achieving individual and team sales targets.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer service skills with ability to explain insurance products clearly.
• Proven sales experience with a results‑oriented mindset and track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Basic knowledge of insurance concepts or strong interest in learning life and health insurance products.
• Good organizational and time‑management abilities with attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
• Comfortable with hybrid work arrangements and reliable access to communication tools.
• Minimum diploma or degree in business, marketing, finance or related field; comparable sales or financial services experience is an advantage.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of local Ugandan languages is beneficial.
