Sales and Marketing Associate

About the role

The Sales and Marketing Associate will work on-site in Kampala to promote and distribute annuity and life assurance products. You will engage directly with prospective and existing clients through phone outreach, face‑to‑face meetings, and relationship building, supporting the agency’s growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and qualify leads for insurance products.
• Present product information clearly and in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Answer client questions about policies, services, and coverage options.
• Support marketing campaigns by preparing sales materials and collateral.
• Provide feedback on market trends and customer needs to the marketing team.
• Collaborate with internal teams for training, product updates, and performance reporting.
• Document all sales activities accurately in company systems.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
• Proven sales and marketing abilities, including lead generation and closing opportunities.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing product and process training.
• Ability to work on‑site in Kampala, manage time efficiently, and handle multiple client interactions.
• Previous experience in insurance, financial services, or related fields is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to regulatory standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools for tracking leads and client interactions.
• Competence in basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office) for preparing reports and documentation.
