Sales Associate

About the role

The Sales Associate role is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Kampala. The Sales Associate will engage directly with customers, present products and services, answer questions, and support clients in making informed purchasing decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Identifying potential customers and following up on leads.
• Maintaining accurate sales records and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely service delivery.
• Handling customer concerns professionally and contributing to promotional activities or events.
• Upholding company standards, maintaining an organized workspace, and providing consistent high‑quality customer service.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to engage with customers, build rapport, and maintain long‑term client relationships.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including clear verbal communication and active listening.
• Basic sales and negotiation capabilities with an understanding of lead follow‑up and closing techniques.
• Comfort with maintaining accurate records, handling cash or digital payments, and using basic office or point‑of‑sale tools.
• Ability to work on‑site in Kampala, manage time effectively, and adapt to a fast‑paced environment.
• High level of professionalism, reliability, and ethical conduct in all interactions.
• Completion of secondary education; additional training or certification in business, marketing, or related fields is beneficial.
