Sales Executive (Insurance Agency)

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site Sales Executive position is based in Kampala and focuses on driving new business for an insurance agency. You will be responsible for generating leads, building client relationships and promoting the agency’s marketing and promotional services.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new business opportunities.
• Prospect, generate leads and prepare sales presentations.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing and close deals to meet sales targets.
• Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to tailor proposals.
• Track sales performance using CRM tools and provide regular reports and market feedback.

Required profile

• Strong sales and business development skills, including prospecting, lead qualification, negotiation and closing.
• Knowledge of advertising, marketing and promotional services.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to organise work, manage multiple accounts and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficiency with basic office and CRM software.
• Previous experience in sales, account management or customer‑facing roles, preferably within marketing or advertising.
• Relevant certificate, diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field is an advantage.
