Sales Executive - IT Hardware

About the role

The Sales Executive – IT Hardware will join Aircom Global Networks in Kampala to drive new business for the company’s hardware portfolio. Working on‑site, you will prospect, qualify and close sales of networking equipment, servers and related ICT solutions for corporate clients.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through lead generation, cold calling and networking.
• Prepare and deliver product presentations and respond to RFPs.
• Maintain accurate sales records and manage the pipeline from initial contact to closing.
• Coordinate with technical and operations teams to ensure timely delivery and implementation.
• Provide ongoing account management, customer support and post‑sale follow‑up.
• Monitor market trends, gather competitive intelligence and contribute to sales forecasts and strategy discussions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in B2B sales within ICT, networking or hardware distribution.
• Strong ability to work independently, meet sales targets and handle multiple opportunities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
• Diploma or degree in Business, IT or a related field is preferred.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IT hardware and networking equipment.
• Proficiency with CRM tools and standard office software.
