Sales Executive

About the role

The Sales Executive will work on‑site in Kampala for an insurance agency. The role focuses on generating new business, nurturing client relationships and achieving sales targets through proactive outreach and strategic planning.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the insurance market.
• Conduct market research and analyse client needs to tailor solutions.
• Manage the sales pipeline from prospecting to closing.
• Deliver professional presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop customised client strategies.
• Negotiate contracts and terms to secure profitable deals.
• Track performance against sales targets and report results to the Agency Manager.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales, client relationship management and negotiation.
• Strong understanding of advertising and marketing principles.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative and meet sales goals.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM software or other sales tools.
