About the role

The Sales Marketing Executive will work on‑site in Kampala to generate new business opportunities, nurture client relationships and drive the agency’s growth. You will combine market research, campaign planning and sales activities to promote the insurance products to prospective customers.

Key responsibilities

  • Generate and follow up on leads, converting prospects into clients.
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities, customer needs and competitor activity.
  • Plan, execute and monitor marketing campaigns across appropriate channels.
  • Prepare proposals, presentations and advertising materials for prospective clients.
  • Support business development initiatives and track sales‑and‑marketing performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to refine product offerings, gather client feedback and ensure consistent messaging.

Required profile

  • Strong ability in market planning and campaign design.
  • Proven sales and communication skills with a focus on lead conversion and negotiation.
  • Experience in business development, client account management or related commercial roles (advantageous).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or equivalent practical experience.
  • Willingness to work on‑site in Kampala and travel locally for client meetings.
  • Self‑motivated, organized and able to meet targets in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

  • Proficiency with office suite and presentation tools.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing platforms.
