Sales Marketing Executive

About the role

The Sales Marketing Executive will work full‑time on‑site in Kampala for an insurance agency. The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships and supporting marketing initiatives to grow the agency’s market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and generate leads.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, presenting their needs.
• Conduct market research and analyse trends, customer behaviour and competitor activity.
• Support the development and execution of marketing campaigns.
• Prepare sales proposals, track campaign performance and report on sales activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of services and contribute ideas to enhance market presence.

Required profile

• Strong market planning and advertising strategy skills.
• Proven B2B sales experience including lead generation, negotiation and closing deals.
• Experience in market research and trend analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field (preferred).
• Ability to work on‑site in Kampala, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Experience using online advertising networks and analytics tools.
