Sales Representative (Insurance Agency)

About the role

The Insurance Agency is seeking a full‑time Sales Representative to identify and pursue new business opportunities, build lasting client relationships, and promote the agency’s advertising and marketing services.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and outreach to new business opportunities.
• Conduct sales meetings, presentations, and prepare proposals and quotations.
• Negotiate contracts in line with agency guidelines.
• Coordinate with internal creative, marketing, and operations teams to scope client needs.
• Track sales activities in CRM tools and report on pipeline status and market trends.
• Maintain accurate sales reports and performance metrics.
• Achieve or exceed assigned revenue targets.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in sales, business development, or account management, preferably in advertising, marketing, or related services.
• Strong client relationship‑building, communication, presentation and negotiation abilities.
• Effective communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with confidence in face‑to‑face client engagement.
• Collaborative mindset to work with creative, marketing, and operations teams.
• Ability to work on‑site in Kampala, manage multiple prospects and accounts in a fast‑paced environment.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent practical experience.
