Sales Representative

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time, on‑site Sales Representative to join our insurance agency in Kampala. The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, building a sales pipeline and closing deals with both new and existing clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and qualify new clients in the advertising and marketing sectors.
• Present agency services, develop tailored proposals and prepare quotations.
• Negotiate terms and close sales agreements.
• Maintain strong client relationships through regular follow‑ups and coordination with creative and account teams.
• Track sales metrics, prepare reports and stay updated on market trends and competitors.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales, business development or account management, preferably in advertising, marketing, media or related fields.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work towards sales targets and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, Communications or related discipline (preferred).
• Familiarity with the Kampala business environment is an advantage.

Required skills

• Experience using CRM tools.
• Basic sales reporting or forecasting.
