Sales Representative

About the role

The Sales Representative will work for an insurance agency, identifying and engaging prospective clients across Kampala. You will present the agency’s services and training solutions, manage the full sales cycle, and help grow the business through proactive outreach and relationship building.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and engage prospective clients.
• Present insurance services and training solutions.
• Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to closing.
• Conduct client meetings, prepare proposals, and follow up on inquiries.
• Maintain accurate records in sales systems and CRM tools.
• Collaborate with business development and marketing teams to align sales efforts with campaigns.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Gather market feedback and represent the agency at events and client visits.

Required profile

• Strong sales and negotiation skills with experience managing leads and closing deals.
• Knowledge of business planning, advertising, and business development concepts.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and active listening abilities.
• Basic proficiency with office software and CRM or sales tracking tools.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet targets in a fast‑paced environment.
• Previous experience in sales, client relations, or business training services is an advantage.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
• Familiarity with the Kampala business landscape and willingness to travel within the city.
