About the role

PEAS is hiring an AI Innovation Officer to unlock the potential of artificial intelligence across the organisation. This unique position sits at the intersection of technology and education, designing and testing AI tools that improve support for schools, teachers, and government partners.

Key responsibilities

• Prototype AI tools and automations to improve efficiency and decision‑making.
• Embed AI into organisational workflows across multiple teams.
• Identify and test new AI tools and platforms.
• Support adoption and build internal capability around AI.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience building with AI tools and workflow automation.
• Ability to quickly prototype and iterate based on user feedback.
• Clear communication with both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Passion for using AI to drive real‑world impact in education.

What we offer

• Competitive salary £26,000 – £36,000 per year, dependent on experience and location.
• Flexible location (UK, Uganda, Zambia or Ghana preferred).
• Full‑time permanent role starting May 2026.
