Security & Compliance Assistant

About the role

The Security & Compliance Assistant supports the protection of company assets, people and inventory while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements. The role involves developing, implementing and monitoring security policies, procedures and controls across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain security policies, procedures and controls to mitigate operational risks.
• Monitor compliance with applicable laws, regulations and industry standards.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits, identify weaknesses and develop remediation plans.
• Assist in managing third‑party security relationships and contractual requirements.
• Provide guidance and support to business units on security and compliance matters.
• Develop and deliver security and compliance training for employees.
• Manage security incidents and breaches, including response and reporting.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to embed security and compliance requirements.
• Stay current on emerging threats and recommend updates to policies and controls.
• Support achievement of collections targets for escalated accounts in the S&C portfolio.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Works, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in security and compliance.
• Experience in the solar pay‑go business is a plus.
• Strong analytical ability to understand complex technical and business requirements.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
