Security Supervisor

About the role

The Security Supervisor will lead the hotel’s security team across all shifts, ensuring a safe environment for guests and staff. This role combines hands‑on patrol duties with strategic oversight of security operations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate security guards on every shift.
• Conduct regular patrols of hotel premises to maintain safety.
• Monitor CCTV cameras and other security systems in real time.
• Investigate, document, and report security incidents, accidents, and complaints.
• Ensure compliance with hotel security policies and procedures.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, disturbances, and fire alarms.
• Coordinate emergency response and evacuation procedures when required.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly security reports.
• Monitor access control and prevent unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate security staff performance.
• Liaise with law enforcement and emergency service providers as needed.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminology, Public Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of security experience, preferably in hospitality, corporate, or institutional settings.
• Previous supervisory experience is an advantage.
• Training in First Aid, Fire Safety, or Security Operations is desirable.
