Senior Associate, Innovation and Data Integration

About the role

Evidence Action is seeking a Senior Associate to lead data systems and analytics for its new In‑Line Chlorination Innovation Team within the Safe Water Now program. Based in Mbale, Uganda, you will ensure rapid‑cycle pilots generate trustworthy, actionable data that can be used by field staff and program managers to improve water‑treatment interventions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement data collection tools for field pilots.
• Build and maintain dashboards that visualize real‑time performance metrics.
• Own the end‑to‑end data pipeline from field measurement to operational decision‑making.
• Validate data quality and ensure it meets the needs of the Innovation team.
• Collaborate with engineers, program managers, and community partners to translate insights into actionable improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing data systems and analytics in low‑resource or field settings.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and comfort working in fast‑moving, experimental environments.
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical findings to non‑technical stakeholders.
