Senior Platform, DevOps & Data Reliability Engineer

About the role

Laboremus is looking for a Senior Platform, DevOps & Data Reliability Engineer to own and improve the reliability, security, and observability of its technology platform. You will work in a small, high‑impact technical team to build resilient infrastructure, ensure data integrity, and automate operational processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and optimise cloud infrastructure across production, staging, development and testing environments.
• Implement configuration‑management and infrastructure‑as‑code to reduce manual effort.
• Design, maintain and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines and release management processes.
• Own platform monitoring, logging, alerting and observability, and lead incident response.
• Handle privileged access, secrets management, vulnerability remediation and security monitoring.
• Ensure backups, encryption, audit logs and access reviews are in place and support security audits.
• Monitor database performance and availability, and maintain data reliability.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a senior DevOps or platform reliability role within a fast‑moving environment.
• Strong focus on operational excellence, security and automation.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with product, operations and compliance teams.
