Senior Program Manager – Impact Intelligence Platform

About the role

The Senior Program Manager will lead the implementation of TechnoServe’s Impact Intelligence Platform (TIIP) for Nile Breweries Limited in Uganda. Reporting to senior leadership, the role oversees day‑to‑day field data collection for more than 10,000 barley and sorghum farmers, ensures data quality, and manages the transition of data‑collection responsibilities to the client.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise field data‑collection activities, including procurement and management of third‑party enumeration firms.
• Maintain rigorous quality‑assurance processes for data gathered from 10,051 farmers.
• Serve as the primary liaison between Nile Breweries, AB InBev, implementation partners, and TechnoServe’s technical team.
• Plan and execute the phased hand‑over of data‑collection duties to Nile Breweries over a three‑year period.
• Develop and deliver training, troubleshooting, and operational support to ensure sustainable data management.
• Gather stakeholder input to configure the TIIP dashboards and ensure smooth development, testing, and rollout of new features.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale data‑collection or monitoring projects, preferably in agricultural value chains.
• Strong stakeholder‑management skills with ability to work across NGOs, private‑sector partners, and government agencies.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive results in a multi‑year program.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities, with willingness to travel to field sites in Uganda.
