About the role
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead development and customization of our OpenMRS‑based Electronic Medical Records system for a healthcare facility in Uganda. The role involves building integrations and setting engineering standards for the team.
Key responsibilities
- Lead development and customization of the facility's OpenMRS‑based Electronic Medical Records system.
- Build FHIR and REST integrations across laboratory, pharmacy, finance, and clinical systems.
- Set engineering standards and mentor the internal development team.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
- At least five (5) years of professional software development experience.
- Proven experience working on healthcare, hospital, clinical, medical, or health‑management systems.
