Service Center Technician

About the role

The Service Center Technician ensures excellent customer service by repairing faulty units, managing spare‑part inventory, and achieving monthly sales and revenue targets within a designated service centre region.

Key responsibilities

• Daily management of pending work orders and close‑loop communication with customers via the service tracking desk.
• Ensure all customers receive post‑repair payment processing.
• Provide continuous ticketing training for the field team.
• Assign field technicians to high‑value customers unable to visit the service centre.
• Optimize field‑technician allocation by distributing tickets from the service tracking desk and regional centres.
• Maintain monthly spare‑parts demand forecasting and ordering.
• Implement new OOW policy focused on minimum payment based on customer category.
• Guarantee inventory accuracy for spares and finished goods.
• Ensure 100% compliance for used spare‑part returns to the refurbishment centre.
• Prepare and circulate monthly stock‑take summaries, highlighting issues and variances.

Required profile

• Strong organisational skills to manage work orders and inventory.
• Ability to meet sales and revenue targets.
• Experience coordinating field technicians and handling high‑value customer accounts.
• Attention to detail for accurate forecasting and stock reporting.
