Social Media Manager – Digital Content Creator

About the role

We are seeking a Social Media Manager to boost our client’s digital presence across Africa. The role involves creating, curating and managing high‑quality content that reflects the brand and engages professional audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute content strategies for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, Threads, TikTok and YouTube.
• Write compelling copy and storytelling pieces for professional audiences.
• Shoot, edit and publish short‑form videos tailored for social platforms.
• Design posters and creative assets for digital campaigns using Canva or similar tools.
• Manage publishing schedules via Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Pages and other scheduling tools.
• Monitor performance metrics, report on reach and engagement, and optimise future content.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of hands‑on experience managing social media for a brand (B2B, fintech or regtech a plus).
• Portfolio showing 3‑5 examples with measurable results.
• Excellent written English with a focus on clarity.
• Ability to translate technical or compliance topics into clear, accurate posts and know when to involve legal.
• Reliable internet connection, own laptop and availability during business hours.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Canva, Figma, CapCut/Reels.
• Hands‑on experience using Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Pages, X and other scheduling tools.
• Strong knowledge of major social platforms: LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, Threads, TikTok, YouTube.
