Software Development Graduate Intern

About the role

Jentroy is looking for a motivated graduate to join its software development team and write real code for real clients from day one. This hands‑on internship offers exposure to both frontend and backend development on live projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design and code solutions for real clients.
• Ship production‑grade systems as part of an agile team.
• Work across frontend and backend using modern technology stacks.
• Take features through build, test and deployment cycles.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions and mentorship sessions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams during sprint planning.

Required profile

• In final semester or graduated within the last 24 months with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related field.
• Self‑motivated, caring about building solutions that impact organisations and communities.
• Personal or academic projects that demonstrate coding ability are a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and take ownership of work.

Required skills

• Solid grasp of OOP, data structures, algorithms and problem‑solving.
• Proficiency in at least one language such as JavaScript, Python, C# or Java.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Bonus knowledge of TypeScript, Angular, React, Node.js, AWS or Azure, APIs, databases, distributed systems, and UI/UX design.
