Software Sales Representative – Kampala

About the role

The Software Sales Representative will work on‑site in Kampala, driving new business for Tricsoft Technologies Ltd. You will showcase the company’s digital solutions, conduct product demos and match software offerings to client needs.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, research and qualify prospective clients across various industries.
• Conduct product demonstrations and present tailored software solutions.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to proposal development and deal closure.
• Maintain and expand relationships with existing customers, seeking upsell and cross‑sell opportunities.
• Collaborate with technical and product teams to ensure solutions meet client requirements.
• Update the CRM system daily and provide regular sales reports and market feedback.
• Represent the company at industry events, client meetings and networking functions.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in B2B software or technology sales, covering the entire sales process.
• Strong lead‑generation abilities, including prospect research and pipeline building.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting solutions and negotiating with diverse stakeholders.
• Proven account‑management experience with a focus on long‑term client relationships.
• A diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, IT or a related field is preferred.
