About the role

The Renaissance Academy is seeking a Special Education Resource Teacher for the 2026‑2027 school year. This position focuses on delivering specialized instruction to students with mild to moderate disabilities across K‑12, working eight hours each day. Candidates must hold a valid teaching license and the appropriate special education endorsement.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver eight hours of daily, differentiated instruction to students identified with mild to moderate disabilities, adapting lessons to meet each learner’s unique needs.
• Implement and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) for K‑12 students, ensuring that instructional goals align with state special education standards.
• Maintain strict compliance with professional licensing requirements and the special education endorsement, documenting qualifications and continuing education as required.
• Provide resource support throughout Renaissance Academy, collaborating with classroom teachers to integrate specialized strategies into the broader curriculum.

Required profile

• Hold a valid teaching license recognized for K‑12 instruction.
• Possess a special education endorsement specifically covering mild and moderate disabilities.
• Be qualified to teach special education across kindergarten through 12th grade.
• Be available to commence duties for the 2026‑2027 academic year, working eight hours per day.
