Stock Controller – Retail Operations

About the role

The Stock Controller will join M‑KOPA’s Retail Group in Ntinda, ensuring accurate inventory management and supporting smooth shop and depot operations. You will work closely with Direct Sales Representatives and customers to maintain stock integrity and deliver high‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily stock counts by scanning IMEIs and share results with the audit team for reconciliation.
• Allocate stock to DSRs each day and follow up on devices that remain in the field beyond expected timelines.
• Receive incoming stock from the main warehouse, verify accuracy and store securely in designated lockers.
• Facilitate timely return of stock to the warehouse and ensure compliance with all stock management policies.
• Support customers during device upgrades, log inquiries, and escalate unresolved issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized shop environment, label storage areas, and keep signage aligned with brand guidelines.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by the line manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or certificate from a recognized institution in any field.
• Entry‑level candidate – no prior experience required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced retail setting.
• Good collaboration and teamwork orientation.
• Reliability and punctuality, with availability at the shop before 8:00 AM on working days.
