Stores & Inventory Controller

About the role

RamcoGas Uganda is seeking a meticulous and detail‑oriented Stores & Inventory Controller to manage the efficient flow of stock, assets, and inventory across its branches in Uganda.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, check, and examine incoming stock at the warehouse and LPG storage depot, cross‑referencing against invoices.
• Visit all branches regularly to monitor stock levels and prevent delivery delays.
• Populate the Cylinder management system with refilling data and track cylinder movements, ensuring timely replenishment.
• Oversee daily dispatches of cylinders and other stock/assets following established procedures.
• Collect company assets from customers, keep them in good condition, securely stored, and enforce approval processes.
• Maintain accurate records of stock levels, transactions, and inventory movements, generating regular reports for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in inventory control and stock management.
• Familiarity with Cylinder management systems is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with branches and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
