Technical Solar Sales Representative

About the role

We are looking for an energetic Technical Solar Sales Representative to expand our customer base and support installers, resellers and end‑users across Uganda, primarily in the Central region. The role combines product knowledge with hands‑on sales activities, both in our Kireka showroom and on field visits.

Key responsibilities

• Greet walk‑in and call‑in clients at the Kireka office/showroom.
• Sell a full range of solar products, including hybrid inverters, lithium batteries, solar panels, streetlights, floodlights and portable power stations.
• Conduct site visits (often with a technician) to size solar systems and help close sales.
• Prepare quotations, follow up with prospects and manage leads from phone, WhatsApp and social media.
• Visit installers, electricians, hardware shops and partners to promote Cworth products.
• Achieve monthly sales targets and submit simple sales reports.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Renewable Energy or a related engineering field.
• Minimum of 3 months experience in solar or technical sales.
• Ability to understand basic solar sizing and system components (inverters, batteries, panels, MPPTs).
• Strong spoken and written English; spoken Luganda.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, email) and confidence using WhatsApp and social media for sales.
• Comfortable working with monthly targets.
