Territory Business Executive

About the role

The Territory Business Executive will drive sales of cash and PAY‑GO d.light products across a designated Ugandan territory. You will be responsible for meeting revenue, collection, and portfolio health targets while expanding the brand’s market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Create awareness and support direct selling for retail outlets in the assigned geography.
• Recruit, train and manage Sales & Engagement Partners to achieve set targets.
• Identify new customers, activate new channels such as Experience Centers, phone shops and retail distributors, and ensure stock availability across all outlets.
• Monitor sales data, market trends, customer queries and complaints, and maintain a delinquency rate below 20%.
• Implement d.light’s Route to Market, supervise inventory management, and ensure minimum stock levels with partners.
• Follow up on outstanding payments, enforce compliance with risk and quality processes, and maintain tools of trade and company vehicle according to policy.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of proven sales experience with a strong track record.
• Diploma in a business‑related field (minimum).
• Experience in fast‑growth sales environments and excellent communication skills.
• Valid Ugandan riding licence and ability to travel within the territory.
• High level of discretion, confidentiality and a mindset for continuous improvement.
