TikTok Operations Manager

About the role

The TikTok Operations Manager will oversee the end‑to‑end management of our brand’s TikTok presence in Uganda. You will be responsible for account setup, daily nurturing, content creation, live streaming support and converting viewers into customers.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain TikTok accounts: bind phone numbers, register, set up homepages, monitor security and respond to comments and messages.
• Produce short‑form videos based on scripts, edit, add subtitles and publish 2‑3 videos per day while tracking views and follower growth.
• Set up and test live‑streaming equipment, assist with live broadcasts and record streaming metrics.
• Convert TikTok traffic to WhatsApp, handle inquiries, maintain influencer databases and conduct offline market research.
• Compile weekly and monthly operation data, attendance records, expenses and submit regular reports.
• Lead a small local team, assign tasks, supervise attendance, train staff on operational procedures and report issues.

Required profile

• Mid‑level professional with at least 12 months of experience managing TikTok accounts or similar social‑media platforms.
• Ability to work independently and later manage local staff.
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel for data reporting.
• Basic video editing and subtitle addition.
• Live‑streaming equipment setup and testing.
• TikTok account management.
