Toolkit Operations & Logistics Coordinator (Uganda)

About the role

The Toolkit Operations and Logistics Coordinator will manage the end‑to‑end flow of project toolkits across Uganda. This contract‑based position supports the International Trade Centre’s Toolkit Management initiative, ensuring secure storage, timely distribution, and accurate record‑keeping.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate receipt, secure storage, inventory, and distribution of toolkits, applying loss controls and field logistics procedures.
• Develop and maintain operating plans, service levels, staffing, routing, safety requirements, and escalation paths.
• Schedule and manage people, sites, materials, equipment, vendors, and access for each operating cycle.
• Maintain detailed custody, incident, exception, maintenance, and performance records for all toolkit activities.
• Reconcile outputs against service levels, correct exceptions, and produce operating reports and asset hand‑off packages.
• Trace work to RFP scope, requirements, deliverables, and acceptance criteria, documenting assumptions, risks, and client decisions.
• Prepare technical inputs, work products, estimates, quality records, and post‑award delivery evidence.
• Coordinate handoffs with project management, business analysis, technical, field, quality, compliance, training, and operations workstreams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in toolkit operations or logistics coordination within public‑sector, regulated, or enterprise environments.
• Ability to produce complete, reviewable work products aligned with requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Strong documentation, stakeholder coordination, risk awareness, confidentiality, and deadline discipline.
• Relevant licenses, certifications, clearances, insurance, or local delivery capacity as required by the solicitation.
