Trade Marketing Representative

About the role

The Trade Marketing Representative will support sustainable sales growth by executing channel‑specific marketing programs, managing trade execution standards, and building strong partnerships with key customers across Uganda.

Key responsibilities

• Implement IRVP programs with brand marketing, covering events, refrigeration, draught, merchandising, category management, signage and promotions.
• Develop expertise in merchandising, point‑of‑connection (POC), BTL activities, calendar planning and cold‑strategy execution.
• Monitor trade execution standards and collaborate with the sales team to ensure compliance.
• Create and manage annual BTL plans, budgets and activity calendars, ensuring timely allocation of promotional materials.
• Review activity results, communicate updates through regular CPF sessions, and adapt plans as needed.
• Build effective business partnerships with key customers and manage third‑party BTL agencies to maintain quality standards.

Required profile

• Familiarity with the Ugandan market environment and consumer trends.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work under pressure, adapt to change and manage detailed analysis.
• High attention to detail, leadership and project‑management capabilities.
