Typescript Open Source Contributor – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Typescript Open Source Contributor to join our remote team on a contract basis. You will work on production‑quality code, reviews, and documentation for open‑source repositories that support our customer projects.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute high‑quality code, perform code reviews, and write documentation for relevant open‑source projects.
• Design, implement, and optimise complex algorithms and system components using Typescript and optionally C++, Python, Java, Go, or Rust.
• Identify and resolve technical challenges, bugs, and performance bottlenecks in existing codebases.
• Collaborate with other contributors and stakeholders to align deliverables with project goals and best practices.
• Maintain and enhance technical documentation to support knowledge sharing and onboarding.
• Participate in code discussions and provide constructive feedback to improve overall code quality.

Required profile

• Previous experience working on large‑scale, distributed codebases.
• Background in rigorous code reviews and contributing to software best practices.
• Familiarity with modern AI or machine learning systems is a plus, though not required.
