URRI Partnerships and Programme Implementation Coordinator

About the role

The URRI Partnerships and Programme Implementation Coordinator will support the Uganda Refugee Resilience Initiative (URRI) by coordinating partners, monitoring activities and strengthening the capacity of district local governments and implementing partners across six districts in West Nile, Uganda.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure programme activities are implemented according to work plans and guidelines.
• Conduct regular field monitoring, provide feedback and address challenges promptly.
• Facilitate regular meetings with implementing partners to identify bottlenecks and develop solutions.
• Coordinate preparation and timely submission of concept notes, terms of reference and reports.
• Maintain and update programme risk registers and support mitigation planning.
• Disseminate lessons learned and best practices across the consortium.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with at least 6 years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in programme implementation and partner coordination in humanitarian or development settings.
• Strong knowledge of capacity‑building approaches for local governments and NGOs.
• Ability to travel frequently for field monitoring in remote districts.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
