YouTube Strategist – Remote Full‑Time/Contract

About the role

We are looking for a data‑driven YouTube Strategist to own and scale our channel presence. In this remote role you will shape the end‑to‑end video content pipeline, from audience research to performance analysis, driving brand awareness and measurable business results.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute long‑term YouTube content strategies aligned with business goals.
• Conduct audience research and competitor analysis to identify high‑value topics.
• Guide creative teams on titles, thumbnails, descriptions, and video pacing.
• Optimize metadata (titles, tags, thumbnails) to improve click‑through rates and watch time.
• Monitor key metrics in YouTube Studio and translate insights into actionable improvements.
• Maintain an editorial calendar and streamline production workflows.
• Collaborate with social, paid, and product marketing to integrate video content.
• Identify and pursue monetization opportunities, sponsorships, and merchandise integrations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or equivalent experience.
• Proven track record of growing YouTube channels with a strong portfolio or case studies.
• Deep, up‑to‑date knowledge of the YouTube algorithm, SEO best practices, and community guidelines.
• Ability to interpret YouTube Analytics data and create data‑driven strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for briefing creative teams.
