About the role
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager – Customer Care to lead our customer support team in Kampala. The role involves supervising daily operations, handling escalations, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction across all channels.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, coach and guide the support team to maintain high service efficiency and satisfaction.
- Oversee day‑to‑day customer care activities across all support channels.
- Manage complex customer issues and escalations promptly, ensuring fair resolutions.
- Prepare regular performance reports, tracking service level metrics, ticket resolutions and feedback trends.
- Identify bottlenecks, refine workflows and implement improvements based on customer feedback.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Public Relations or a related field.
- 3–5 years of progressive experience in customer care or support operations.
- At least 1 year of supervisory or team‑lead experience.
- Strong leadership, analytical and communication abilities.
