About the role
The University in Uganda is seeking an Assistant Professor of Law to join its faculty. This full‑time academic position involves teaching, research, and student mentorship within a multicultural environment.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver undergraduate and/or postgraduate law courses.
- Prepare lectures, course materials, assessments and examinations.
- Conduct scholarly research and contribute to academic publications.
- Supervise student research projects and dissertations.
- Participate in departmental academic activities and university committees.
Required profile
- LL.M. or Master’s degree in Law from a recognised university.
- Relevant teaching and/or professional experience (preferred).
- Strong communication, teaching and research abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural academic environment.
