Enterprise Facilitator – Community Field Support

About the role

ACTON Uganda Ltd is seeking motivated individuals to join a community‑based Field Support team that will help implement youth‑owned enterprise projects across the West Nile Region. The role involves on‑the‑ground mapping, coaching and business development support for enterprises in districts such as Arua, Terego, Madi‑Okollo, Yumbe and Adjumani.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct field‑level mapping and data collection on youth‑owned enterprises in the assigned district.
• Deliver weekly on‑site coaching and mentorship visits to supported enterprises.
• Provide first‑line business development assistance and troubleshoot operational challenges.
• Submit weekly field reports detailing progress, emerging issues and recommendations.

Required profile

• Diploma in Business Administration, Business Studies, Social Work, Development Studies, Economics, Social Sciences, Agriculture or related field; a Bachelor’s degree is an advantage.
• Minimum 2 years experience facilitating community‑based business development, enterprise development or mentorship training.
• Experience delivering capacity‑building training in business development services.
• At least 3 years experience in data collection.
• Strong working knowledge of one or more local languages (Kakwa, Lugbara, Madi, Arabic).
